Dear Friends,
When I began my journey into the wonderful world of photography at the age of 16, I had never imagined it would take me to where I am today. But after a year of struggling to find balance between my family and business I have come to the conclusion that I need to let go of Red Wagon Photography as a business. As difficult as this is to write I feel at peace with my decision.
My daughter is turning ten next month and my son with soon be eight. They are growing up so fast and they are becoming increasingly independent as each day passes. I feel strongly in my heart that I need to spend my time and energy being there for them as they transition into the teen years.
Also, as much as photography is my passion, business is not. Although I have learned much, it takes much of the joy out of creating for me.
I have been so blessed to have had all of you in my life and to watch your families grow over the years. Thank you for entrusting me with capturing some of the most important times in your lives, it truly has been a joy for me.
Thank you so much for being part of my journey.
Sincerely,
Lara McAllister
